Regional Policy Forum for Latin America

In order to raise global awareness for the 2012 World Open Educational Resources (OER) Congress, UNESCO in cooperation with the Commonwealth of  Learning is holding a number of regional policy forums on OER around the world. The objectives of the forums are to:
  • intensify dialogue with Governments on OER;
  • showcase local OER policies, experts and initiatives; and
  • contribute to the drafting of the Paris Declaration.

All Latin American countries were invited to the Forum through their Permanent Delegations to UNESCO.
